Okeeeee, had never seen it before. Also was a bit weird. Russian written under it, spoken English. Still wonder why they said something like"Don't shoot it" Maybe because it was in the neighbourhood of some inhabited area's?

what I made out was ... we have no chute I repeat negative chute... which would mean the parachute didn't deploy..

Correct, the chute didn't deploy. They were supposed to do an in the air catch by sky hooking the chute. No chute, no sky hook, splat.

So, what's up with THAT! Isn't there a quarantine protocol?

James McCanney has stated on his radio show that there have been increased reported instances of flu in the populace whenever the planet Venus had an inferior conjunction with Earth. The idea is that the "comet tail" of Venus envelops Earth during such a planetary alignment, and the presumption is that Venus' comet tail contains among other things, viruses that have a health impact on us earthlings.

So, not knowing what exactly we are capturing with the Genesis Space Capsule, you'd think they would have a fail-safe methodology for making sure it does not track unwanted nasties into our atmosphere. Instead, we get a splat!
