I've wondered for years why this hasn't occured before now. They sit out there in an open field. They have been widely publicized and it is obvious what they represent. Well, it finally happened. Fun pictures. (http://www.infowars.com/?p=6477)

1. Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature.
2. Guide reproduction wisely - improving fitness and diversity.

3. Unite humanity with a living new language.

4. Rule passion - faith - tradition - and all things with tempered reason.

5. Protect people and nations with fair laws and just courts.

6. Let all nations rule internally resolving external disputes in a world court.

7. Avoid petty laws and useless officials.

8. Balance personal rights with social duties.

9. Prize truth - beauty - love - seeking harmony with the infinite.

10.Be not a cancer on the earth - Leave room for nature - Leave room for nature.

Has anyone here every thought that MAYBE this is a WARNING
slapped right in your FACE from friends...... Pull your head out of your A**
WAKE-UP.... NOPE..... because we think everything has something
evil behind it...... Maybe just a simple message to warn you what is
coming..... and to change your ways...... maybe wake-up and fight....

Just a thought.....

someone said it could be a false flag attack to incriminate truthers
BUT I kinda doubt they would do a false flag attack that points to nwo / rockefeller etc in writing. Therefore it would not be on the 6pm sheeple news tv programs

who knows.

Early Observation

In checking 4 other forums there seems to be a noticeable negative reaction to the use of "swear" words on the granite. (Curious response to a "document" which purports to eliminate most of us eventually.) Many feel they should have been blown up altogether. One of the forums, known to be a tool for the PTB, has several predictable early posts decrying the effort as a "stain" on a "well-intentioned" "monument to peace and civility."

I didn't see anything there about our input and free will being tarnished by the erection of these little slabs of elitism.

How do you feel about it?

Well, the Georgia Guidestones sure sound reasonable enough, but you gotta wonder about the assumptions embedded in its idealism. You gotta wonder even harder about what kind of means would be used to arrive at such lofty ideals, if mankind continues choosing to act 'irrationally' in the face of systemic collapse.

Let's take that first point as a 'for instance.' A 500M limit to population seems a bit arbitrary. How did the authors arrive at that figure? At today's population level - this would mean that 12 out of every 13 people alive would not be around. Kinda harsh, don't you think? Of course, "balance with nature" is the other side of the coin. The success of humankind has surely meant the decline of almost every other species, not to mention the whole idea of the Sabbath - but that is another story. Balance is necessary, but I would prefer the balance that comes from raw, unadulterated conscience than something legislated from 'on high.' For instance, consider author Derrick Jensen's very simple definition of what we might call 'reciprocal maintenance':

"So that afternoon I went out and I sat next to this tree that I had a long relationship with and I asked the tree "What is the fundamental predator/prey relationship?" And the tree gave me the answer right away, which is "If you consume the flesh of another, you now take responsibility for the continuation of the others' community." So if I consume the flesh of salmon from the Klamath river, I now take responsibility for the continuation of the Klamath river salmon."
Now contrast that statement, which is about personal responsibility, with just about anything a governmental committee might come up with as a solution for the consumerist society at large. Which would you trust? Which would you prefer? Jensen's definition may be simple to comprehend, but perhaps not so easy to consistently put into practice. Maybe we need nevertheless to struggle more intimately with these issues while we still have the opportunity to do so at the level of personal responsibility - otherwise we may find someone else deciding for us.
