Unfortunately enough I never learned to play an instrument. The advantage of this disadvantage is that I listened a lot of music.

Franks my favorite. It will take some years to only listen to his material. He had som bunker in which he composed the last couple of years of his life. As he recorded evrything there must be material for another decade to study. He is, as far as I know, the only musician who has called a planetoide after him.....

Mastered tenor sax, could play any reed instrument, some guitar and keyboard, did a battle of the bands at the Seattle Coliseum with "The Shaundells" (sp) "Don and The Good Times", and "Paul Revere and The Raiders." We, The Reef Riders, took third place. All before I entered Military service in 1968. One day I hope to do a tenor sax / french horn duet like dueling banjo's.
Wrote a sax clsssic that was ripped off from us, Harlem Nocturn recorded by the Vie Counts.

Yes, I too love music as an expressive means of emotions.
P.S. We are looking for a piece of music or song that represents Earth's Banner
We will select from this thread that piece of music or song.

and the Chipmunks
This isn't a music file, it was sent to me from the Boxer Rescue in Vancouver, BC. It's rather cute, in wmv format. I don't know how to change it to another format. So this is a test.

I wanted to post this yesterday but forgot, well here it is!
Wonderful video, especially for you Americans amongst us!
On this day, 3rd of February 1959, The day the music died.
1959: Buddy Holly killed in air crash
Three young rock 'n' roll stars have been killed in a plane crash in the United States.
Buddy Holly, 22, Jiles P Richardson - known as the Big Bopper - 28, and Ritchie Valens, 17, died in a crash shortly after take-off from Clear Lake, Iowa at 0100 local time.
The pilot of the single-engined Beechcraft Bonanza plane was also killed.
I don't know what Bob Dylan is doing there, the video is American Pie, Don MCLEAN
Here are the lyrics with an explanation to each one enjoy! (http://www.rareexception.com/lyrics/american-pie-the-analysis-and-interpretation-of-don-mcleans-song-lyrics/):RockOn::RockOn:
