When Norval and I first started this research and doing searches of Internet we came across a research article written years ago by Dr John B. Alexander and NID.

The article indexed follow-up procedures to the Condon Report (Robertson I), procedures to undertake for the likelihood of ET contact, the Robertson II report. One of the steps he outlined was working with high profile movie producers & writers to educate and condition the public for ET contact.
I have searched the Internet and have not found that article but there is an index to the Robertson II report.

Research Methodologies On Contact With ETI (http://www.nidsci.org/articles/alexander/contact_methodologies.html)

So your question, what did these storywriters know or how did they know ie. Iapetus and the Death Star; find that research paper and there would be your answer. But that doesn’t account for HG Well’s or some of those earlier writer’s.
Alexander did a survey & report regarding religions and ET contact.
The Alexander UFO Religious Crisis Survey, The Impact of UFOs and their Occupants on Religion (http://www.nidsci.org/articles/alexander/response_analysis.html)

It seems Alexander was also involved in the Non-lethal Weapons and has a very colourful background.

JOHN B. ALEXANDER aka THE PENGUIN (http://www.newsmakingnews.com/alexandedatadump.htm)

It seems Alexander is also involved with the Canadian National Research Council.
John Alexander is a retired US Army Colonel and a leading advocate for the development of non-lethal weapons. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_B._Alexander)

thanks Gale, thats good info !

But that doesn’t account for HG Well’s or some of those earlier writer's.

I would not be surprised if HG Wells etc were informed by some of 'them', spoon feeding secret info from 'their' hidden libraries which hold all of humanity's history in this solar system.

I read some interesting pieces on Stanley Kubrick, and what he knew.

That might be interesting to know, could you please elaborate?

significance of mathematical patterns repeated throughout "2001 Space Odyssey"

like; the number of times the monolith appeared, at what times it appeared, for how many seconds it appeared.

supposedly nasa approached him for help with sound stage filming of moon landing in england.

his last film eyes wide shut was changed after his death. Otherwise it would have exposed more about illuminati secrets.

Sorry thats about all I can recall. It was a while ago

As we get into movies maybe it would be nice to make a new thread to discuss the different "info" movies. I for one think there can be found a lot of (dis) info in movies. What do you think about it?

Definitely, like Independence Day would be from the view point of a BET expecting those coming to be the bad guys. They just touch on deep Earth tunnel bunker busting and focus on a weaponry weakness. To exploit the unprotected weapon they demonstrate a human trait that the BET’s don’t have, self sacrifice.

We know from CS crater chains that some phenomenal weaponry has been used in our solar system. Surface penetrating bunker busting would also be in the arsenal of weaponry used in our solar system. Penetrating the surface, deep down destruction, the force would come back up the penetration route and collapse of tunnel structures closer to the surface. Interestingly we see this on Mars, the Valles Marineris trench is a collapsed area as stated by a published article, NASA SP-441: VIKING ORBITER VIEWS OF MARS, M.H. Carr, W.A. Baum, K.R. Blasius, G.A. Briggs, J.A. Cutts, T.C. Duxbury, R. Greeley, J. Guest, H. Masursky, B.A. Smith, L.A. Soderblom, J. Veverka, J.B. Wellman:
-The canyons do not form a well-integrated drainage system
-Indicate downward subsidence of canyon floors along faults
-Impact craters, which are so numerous on other Martian terrains, are scarce within Valles Marineris
-No evidence of flow of water has been found within Valles Marineris, although some channels on the adjacent upland are abruptly truncated by steep canyon walls
-Because these canyons are poorly linked with one another, and their floors not a regularly graded slope, they could not have formed as water drainage features.
NASA SP-441: VIKING ORBITER VIEWS OF MARS, BY THE VIKING ORBITER IMAGING TEAM (http://www.solarviews.com/history/SP-441/contents.htm)

In the Tharsis region on Mars there is a line of three large volcanoes Ascreus Mons, Pavonis Mons, and Arsia Mons and a fourth Olympus Mons, about 1500 km northwest, all these so called volcanoes and the trench lack the surface cratering that is everywhere on Mars.
In this line of three volcanoes there is a missing fourth, a companion to Arsia Mons, another mystery, where did this companion volcano go? Could these areas be bunker buster penetration sites? Could the so-called volcanic material be melted and maybe vitrified material from subsurface structures?

That was very interesting Gale, thanks! The paper on the Viking Orbiter I mean, fascinating.
