View Full Version : Truth in Rock and Roll?

I used to suspect that "some" rock and roll was evil in nature, sung by people who sold their soul to the devil...this was in my period of fundamental Christianity. I eventually shrugged it off as "art" created by people of all walks of life...and that "sex, drugs, and rock and roll" sells because people like it and want more, much like the movie industry and violence.

Since the idea that the fallen are amongst us even today, I have once again caught myself "re-interpreting" some lyrics as if they are sung by BETs, and gleaning meaning off them again. It makes perfect sense that these BETs can be very charismatic and understand the repetitious beats and how they were used for nefarious purposes (war drums etc).

I was listening to some music by AC/DC today and the line "your only young but your gonna die" struck me in the gut because of our intentionally limited life span by the hand of these folks. So I thought I would post the lyrics and toss out some interpretation. I find most of it obvious in this song. I am curious if you guys see them this way or do you think I am just reading too much into it.

I'm a rolling thunder, pouring rain
I'm comin' on like a hurricane
My lightning's flashing across the sky - UFO activity?
You're only young but you're gonna die - intentionally limited life span

I won't take no prisoners, won't spare no lives
Nobody's putting up a fight - we aren't really putting up a fight at all
I got my bell, I'm gonna take you to hell
I'm gonna get ya, Satan get ya

CHORUS:
Hell's Bells
Yeah, Hell's Bells
You got me ringin' Hell's Bells
My temperature's high, Hell's Bells - further on it says "the" temp is high?

I'll give you black sensations up and down your spine
If you're into evil you're a friend of mine
See my white light flashing as I split the night - UFOs again?
'Cause if Good's on the left,
Then I'm stickin' to the right

I won't take no prisoners, won't spare no lives
Nobody's puttin' up a fight
I got my bell, I'm gonna take you to hell
I'm gonna get ya, Satan get you

Hell's Bells
Yeah, Hell's Bells
You got me ringin' Hells Bells
My temperature's high, Hell's Bells

INSTUMENTAL (SOLO)

CHORUS
Hell's Bells, Satan's comin' to you
Hell's Bells, he's ringing them now
Hell's Bells, the temperature's high
Hell's Bells, across the sky - this entire chorus says alot if it is true
Hell's Bells, they're takin' you down
Hell's Bells, they're draggin' you under
Hell's Bells, gonna split the night
Hell's Bells, there's no way to fight, yeah
Ow, ow, ow, ow
Hell's Bells

does this mean that AC/DC is a group of BETs that are being blantently clear about their end game and intentions? Anyone have any others to share?

thoughts?

Many "messages" have come through music and movies. When you have researched the document for what these fallen ones have done, are doing and want to do; looking for the words that show their attitudes, it becomes far easier to spot their influences in music and movies.

:iagree:
Both sides seem to have their influences, for example the Moody Blues and sometimes there are the ones that have given up.
The kids xbox 360 rock band has a song by Alice in Chains called Man in a Box:

I'm the man in the box
buried in my shit
won't you come and save me
save me
Feed my eyes
can you sew them shut?
Jesus Christ,
deny your maker
he who tries
will be wasted
feed my eyes
now you've sewn them shut
I'm the dog who gets beat
shove my nose in shit
won't you come and save me
save me
Feed my eyes
can you sew them shut?
Jesus Christ
deny your maker
he who tries
will be wasted
feed my eyes
now you've sewn them shut
Feed my eyes
can you sew them shut?
Jesus Christ,
deny your maker
he who tries
will be wasted
feed my eyes
now you've sewn them shut

here's one from a band called Godsmack, the song is called "Enemy"

Hey Mister backstabbin' son of a bitch
you're livin' in a world that'll soon be dyin'
and I know everybody knows you try to be like me
but even at your best as a man you couldn't equal half of me.

I am realizing that everybody's lost their simple ways
and now that it's here I see it all so clearly
I've come face to face with the enemy, the enemy.

You, your another shit talkin' punk to me.
You're a living inspiration for what I never wanna be,
and I see you've been blinded by what you believe
And now back up and sit down, shut up and act like you need to be.

I am realizing that everybody's lost their simple ways
and now that it's here I see it all so clearly,
I've come face to face with the enemy, the enemy.

come to me, come to me
the enemy come to me, come to me

So predicting you're the reason why I lie
simple decision took me too much time to fly
Oh, checkmate!

I am realizing that everybody's lost their simple ways
and now that it's here I see it all so clearly,
I've come face to face with the enemy, the enemy

come to me

Led Zeppelin is Satanic to the core. In the song "Houses of the Holy," Robert Plant (lead singer) speaks of Satan's daughter and making her garden grow (a sexual reference). The album cover displays naked women crawling towards the top of the temple. It's sickening in the name of decency. Anyone who denies the occult inspiration of Led Zeppelin's music is woefully deceived.

Led Zeppelin also introduced personal occult symbols on one of their albums. Guitarist Jimmy Page of Zeppelin is a devout follower of Satanist, Aleister Crowley, who proclaimed himself as "The Beast 666." Aleister Crowley was also a 33rd and 97th Degree Freemason and is recognized as the master Satanist of the 20th century. In 1971, guitarist Jimmy Page bought Crowley’s Boleskine House on the shore of Loch Ness where Crowley practiced his Hellish, Satanic sex-magick rituals, including human sacrifices. Guitarist Jimmy Page actually performed Crowley magical rituals during their concerts. Their song "Stairway to Heaven" carries the reference "May Queen," which is purported to be the name of a hideous poem by Crowley. In fact, Zed Zeppelin's songs are saturated with Aleister Crowley's Satanic doctrines... follow this link to read the full article http://www.adarkershadeofpagan.com/labels/Thelema.html

Jimmy Page was a devout follower of Aleister Crowley. He even went as far as to purchace and live in the house once owned the Crowley that is located on the Loch Ness.

Crowely claimed that he was in telepathic communication with the beast that lives in the Loch. Could this be a reference to Leviathan?
http://net.bible.org/dictionary.php?word=leviathan

He was also in communication with an entity that he named Lam.. Crowley drew this picture of Lam.. This guy looks very familiar, doesn't he?

I digress! Sorry about that.. One thought leads to another!

Oh man... that's creepy...

'dance in a circle around the central fire'.. Sun god worship or beltaine?
there's lots of symbolism in this song.. I'm still making up my mind about Indigo children.. hhhmmmm.. good? bad? or no such thing...?
