I would like to think that we are here at Earth's Banner because, in our search for answers, we have found the door leading to the truth.

There are those who boldly pass through that door with only the shirt on their backs knowing the path and comfortable with the destination. Among these are two types - 1) ones that are filled with fervor and earnestness over their discovery and are running at full speed, forgetful of the assistance they were given to reach this point and impatient with those around them who are impeding their progress, and are anxious to finish the journey only to discover that when they arrive there is no one to share the joy with and they will have to wait for the others to arrive - and 2) those who will stop and help those who ask for and/or need assistance, and in doing so will have achieved a bonding and community during their travels.

Others are following, but carrying with them "trinkets" they can't yet leave behind and will continue stumbling over their "baggage" until they discover it is of no further value in their journey. These are the ones who seek assistance and guidance in how to manage the discarding of the "baggage".

Some of them are fumbling with the key to the door and have yet to unlock it, but they keep trying no matter how many times they drop the key. It takes very little time and effort to help them insert the key so they may open the door on their own.

A few of them will approach the door and then turn way, but find themselves back at the door again and again and again, but afraid to see what lies beyond. These are the ones who need support and encouragement to face their fears and proceed forward.

Many will turn their backs on the door and ridicule those passing through.

In our encounters with each other on the forum, let's remember that sometimes it's of more benefit to retrieve someone's lost glasses and restore their sight, rather than remind them that without their glasses they are unable to see. Whether or not they choose to wear the glasses, however, is entirely up to them.

Each of us here fit into one of these categories, some of us having been in them all, at one time or another. I have!!
