Interesting... I just went to look it up and there is no explanation... I dropped NASA a note to see if they have an official explanation

Oh just great... I look for info from NASA and run smack into the NAVY again


Because of server problems at NRL, the processing and ingestion of SECCHI FITS data is temporarily suspended. Although some technical problems may still need to be worked out, data ingestion from NRL has resumed. The most recent data has been ingested, but some backlogged data is still being copied over.

The Navy would be much more suited to handle shipboard life compared to the AIRforce IMHO.
