Amazing 'invisible' car

Sara Watson, a design student from the University of Central Lancashire, has made a Skoda 'disappear.' But before you get too excited, this is no feat of Fantastic Four style science fiction trickery.
No, Sara's stunning 'invisible' Skoda is nothing more than a paint job, but it's still an amazing piece of work. Bored with paper and canvas, the student parked the Skoda Fabia, which was donated by Preston recycling firm Recycling Lives, outside her studio and set about blending it into its environment. It took her three weeks to complete.

The 22-year-old artist said: 'I was experimenting with the whole concept of illusion but needed something a bit more physical to make a real impact. People have been stopping in the street to look and coming up and almost bumping into it, so it's had the desired effect.' Recycling Lives is pleased with the result of its benevolence too, because it's now using the Fabia for advertising.
