Could someone please explain the difference between chemtrails and contrails?

Contrails (short for "condensation trails") or vapour trails are visible trails of condensed water vapour made by the exhaust of aircraft engines. As the hot exhaust gases cool in the surrounding air they may precipitate a cloud of microscopic water droplets. If the air is cold enough, this trail will comprise tiny ice crystals.

The wingtip vortices which trail from the wingtips and wing flaps of aircraft are sometimes partly visible due to condensation in the cores of the vortices. Each vortex is a mass of spinning air and the air pressure at the centre of the vortex is very low. These wingtip vortices are not the same as contrails.

Depending on atmospheric conditions, contrails may be visible for only a few seconds or minutes, or may persist for many hours.

People that say they watch them are saying that one big difference is that chemtrails are often laid out in grids, and they last much longer than contrails.

I remember seeing contrails spread out for a while then disappear.
These reports say chem trails last all day and turn a clear sky into overcast.

They have posted many pics and vids supporting those claims.
I have never seen one. Maybe they dont bother with tiny Hawaii.

I have seen claims that in addition to theunmarked white planes seen spraying, they have secret tanks inside some jetliners. Who knows if thats true..

I have to side with Unipax on the chemtrails; I haven't seen one for sure and I am familiar with contrails made by jet exhaust. But, it is one hell of a scare tactic.

I've seen so many pics and some vids posted showing grids being sprayed, and lots of witness reports written.... all that is compelling so I think it could be for real.....unless its another trick.

Its the vids that make it real. Homes visible, like in a backyard vid, and a few parallel trails or some gridwork in an otherwise perfect clear sky, then the guy goes back to same yard every half hour or so, and by noon time a clear sky is entirely overcast, and it was on film from clear sky beginning to evenly overcast at the end
