View Full Version : Sin Against The Faith / Holy Spirit
As with the writing above, the only way that it was understandable was to word study each word in the statement.
Many years I have searched, re-searched and waited to comprehend some of what I and others now understand. As Daniel states, some things will only be understood in the last days, and so we know we are in those last days because we can now understand many more things that we have read over the years. Like comprehending 2nd Esdras's very technological questions.
OK, I have a serious question for you and a question that I have never had a satisfactory answer, from nobody, ever!
Jesus said, all sin's can be forgiven, except one, a sin against the faith!
What is a sin against the faith?:bananen_smilies075:

Sin against the faith, hmmmm, not sure about that one, , ,
Is this the passage you are thinking of?
Matthew 12:31
Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but
the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.

Yes, I don't know anyone yet that can answer this?

Bobbi just did some quick research on the word "blasphemy", it is a Greek word transposed into
the english bibles and not translated. It means to "talk shit about..." or slander, or in other words
not being appreciative of this great gift and denying it, but with adamant distaste of it.
What is called the Holy Spirit, is a whole study of what The Document has to say about it and
takes some time. This unique force, power, is a gift from Father, the Big Guy up there ^, and has
many qualities and attributes about it. If this spirit / force / energy, what ever (grins) can withhold forgiveness because one has "offended" it, then it too is a sentient living entity of some kind.
Don't piss him / her / it off ! ! ! :)
Hope that helps?

If one loses the "gift" of what is called "Holy Spirit" it does not mean the end of ones life. The spirit
or force of life is different than the Holy Spirit. These "gifts" of power and abilities from the Holy
Spirit can be taken away from you just as easily as they are given. You still retain your life till you
commit an act that no longer makes you a "good neighbor" and no one wants to forgive you.
Does that answer your questions? :)

That's what I thought, you keep making the same mistake and he will walk away, leaving you empty inside, of the spirit!:bananen_smilies015:

The gifts of the Holy Spirit go with the Calling, or is given to those that have the "calling". As time
goes on and ones become more advanced in knowledge and wisdom more of this power is given
to them.
These gifts will be needed by those that get "Chosen" to become arbitrators / judges /
representatives of the Kingdom throughout the galaxies of this universe.

so then, if I get the calling, pass through baptisms, earn my stripes and receive this holy spirit, a kind of power that enhances my whole life experience, and then USE that to do harm an damage that which I was entrusted to cherish an honor, to use the power of good for bad or nefarious reasons, to sin against the holy spirit
then I do not just get a slap on the wrist, my name gets stricken from the book of life? Maybe it is a transition point, how one goes from being a good ET to being a bad ET perhaps? Not an original Bad ET but one of the converted minions?

Heretic all ready had this link (http://earthsbanner.com/TheCalling.html) to an article Gale and I did some time back so I suppose it should go here now.
It is our personal integrity and honor at risk in all that one does. The gifts / powers that the Holy Spirit, or Dedicated Power given to the Called and even more so to the Chosen cannot be misused. It's reactionary properties are based on one's "heart" or attitude. These gifts are given only to the Called ones of mankind, not ETs and definitely not to the bad ETs.
The only "mistake" one can make with the powers granted the called and/or chosen ones is to piss it off by bad mouthing it and denying it. Would you stay around someone that did that to you?
Computer bible word searches reveal much about what that document has to say on many topics.

so no real punishment
just a removal of the gifts blasphemed against
seems in line with a benevolent being, free will, and co-creation
good answer
I have had it explained to me by a Called One that had lost the Holy Spirit/Power for a short period of time as a demonstration for that person, that person explained the lack of the Holy Spirit/Power was like a void, like a major piece of what made them ‘them’ was not there, empty, it was difficult for this person to put it in words.
Not just the removal of the gifts, I would word it more as the removal of the source of the gifts not just the gifts. A rudimentary example, you can turn off the breaker in your house to one room, or turn the entire breaker off and your house has no power but it is still a house, the removal of the Holy Spirit would be like shutting off the power to the house from the street and taking it off the grid. One could try turning on the housebreaker but without the power from the main source, no effect. The house could still be lively with kids playing, barbeque cooking, games, flashlights etc, just no power.
I have met a few individuals, when I looked in their eyes it was as if they were blank, nothing there, no spark of anything, a very creepy disturbing sensation. I would attribute one possibility for this as the removal of the Holy Spirit, there are other possibilities for these individuals being as they are but one possibility could be the lack of what some call the Holy Spirit, I like to call it a Power/Force with an attitude.

I too have heard stories of spiritual "abandonment" before, some as a test of faith, others as a result of a rebellion against ones beliefs that grant that power.
so like someone on the right path gets lost in a spiritual trap or a "detour" off the path, and thus losses the power
but once back on the path again, it could come back
thoughts?
If its gone, it’s gone....
