View Full Version : End of the Funnel: 2 Major Earthquakes 2 Occur (12/10-12/15/08)

The U.S. Government Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) (http://www.fema.gov/) warns of a "catastrophic" quake around the Tennessee region for one disastrous quake and the forecasters of the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2004_Indian_Ocean_earthquake) (causing the Asian Tsunami) assess that one might possibly appear in South America.

Vicinity of December 10-15, 2008

The timing is provided by George Ure (Urbansurvival.com) (http://www.urbansurvival.com/week.htm) and Cliff High (Half Past Human.com (http://www.halfpasthuman.com/),) the Predictive Linguistic web bot science analysts who forecast, almost a year ago, the 10/7/08 beginning of the world financial collapse. Also, the 9/11 event, the Oaklohoma City event, and the 5/08 Chinese earthquake, among many other actual occurrances.

Pinpointing the Locations

Ure states that, "at the moment, however, it looks like at least one of the two quakes will be inside the band 32 to 36-degrees latitude and that one of the quakes will be noticed as having 5 pretty distinct/large aftershocks of some consequence." Also, "one of the quakes will also be noted for causing "isolation" to the point that other countries will be sending aid - and it's possible that the quake with the isolation could be U.S. centered."

Reuters reported on November 20th that "FEMA corroborates the quake with "isolation" is in what geologists define as the New Madrid Seismic Zone, would cause "the highest economic losses due to a natural disaster in the United States. FEMA predicted a large earthquake would cause "widespread and catastrophic physical damage" across Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri and Tennessee -- home to some 44 million people. (Article) (http://www.reuters.com/article/newsOne/idUSTRE4AJ9EV20081120)

Major quake in Midwest might kill 6,000 study estimates

"A major Midwestern earthquake may cause 6,000 deaths and $450 billion in damage, while disrupting oil and gas supplies, a U.S. government-sponsored study said."

"Tennessee and Missouri would suffer the brunt of the destruction from a 7.7-magnitude earthquake along the New Madrid Seismic Zone, where more than 3,000 temblors have occurred since 1974, according to the report from the Urbana, Illinois-based Mid-America Earthquake Center. A quake of about that force devastated the region almost 200 years ago, according to the U.S. Geological Survey." (Article) (http://www.dailyherald.com/story/print/?id=252712)

And a little light reading before the next post...THE PLAYBOOK

The Report from Iron Mountain

"...a book, published in 1967 (during the Johnson Administration) by Dial Press, that states that it is the report of a government panel."
"...that concluded war is necessary for the proper functioning of an economy."

Claims it is fiction contradicts a man who was involved

"On November 26, 1976, the report was reviewed in the book section of the Washington Post by Herschel McLandress, which was the pen name for Harvard professor John Kenneth Galbraith. Galbraith, who also had been a member of the CFR (Council on Foreign Relations), said that he knew firsthand of the report's authenticity because he had been invited to participate in it. Although he was unable to be part of the official group, he was consulted from time to time and had been asked to keep the project a secret. Furthermore, while he doubted the wisdom of letting the public know about the report, he agreed totally with its conclusions."

Now this is an interesting story, Zenbuoy, and one that I know a little bit about. In 1811 and 1812 this area was hit with three major quakes and thousands of aftershocks. Considering the population at the time, the destruction was minimal and limited. That will not be the case this time. Consider these facts:

1. The Mississippi has changed course several times, and did during the quakes.

2. The land surrounding the Mississippi is mostly consisted of silt from flooding and course changes and, therefore, susceptible to liquefaction.

3. The Mississippi is a hot bed for manufacturing and industry, including many kinds of chemicals.

4. Nuclear power plants throughout the Midwest are located on rivers and tributaries for their source of cooling. Now imagine the water being diverted due to land convulsions, etc., not to mention widespread destruction of lands, roads and structures, both personal and industrial.

5. The earthquakes of 1811 and 1812 were felt in and caused damage up and down the east coast and as far north as Chicago. The affected area was 8+ times that of the San Francisco quake.

Now imagine the middle of the US totally obliterated by toxic poisoning, interstate and local travel interrupted, nuclear power plants either shut down, melting down, or in control of the bad guys. Shipping and manufacturing will come to a complete halt. Water will be tainted everywhere. Disease and pollution will flow with the rivers and spread as it progresses. Wind patterns and rivers will carry those poisons and possible radiation much further than the epicenter. The numbers of dead will be staggering. Hospital and medical facilities will more than likely be useless in any of the metropolitan areas.

It is estimated that should an earthquake occur with today's population and the vital role the Mississippi plays in moving goods up and down the US and for shipping east to west, it will virtually split the US into two separate entities. Bartering for one what side has and the other side needs will undoubtedly lead to factions of opportunists, who typically are not interested in anyone but themselves, not to mention the local struggle for survivability.

Now I’m certain there are many more gory facts that I’ve left out, and feel free to add them to the list of potential horrors. If we thought Katrina was a disaster, her aftermath will pale in comparison. I'm so glad my family is only 100+ miles from the Canadian border in Minnesota. They will, at least, be on the fringe.

Apparently, in the young science of Predictive Linguistics which scans, monitors and then tallies words & references by a web bot software program from millions of pages (including Governmental information <a key>) it manages to get VERY close to the "event."

-----

For example, in their words, "Remember when we posted the last 'big quake' advisory a couple of days before the China 7.8 - 8.0 quake in May. Off by a day or two in the May 9 and May 10 warnings, but that's why I call the predictive linguistics project a "rickety time machine". When it takes a half linguist/ half SQL-guru and 200+ executables in four languages (dos, perl, c, & prolog) to weed though terabytes of data, no, this is not something you'll be seeing on Amazon any time soon with a slick Vista graphics front-end.."

Because it is a science, not a channeler of a "Prediction," the events have actually been occurring.Think about it. "Off by a day or two."

Concerning seismic monitoring, Gale and I did a bit of research into the location of earthquakes, depths, magnitude, and so on finding some interesting data. Remember all those DUMBs and tunnels? That construction didn't go unnoticed. The use of high thermal, fast decay, nuclear devices can create vast underground areas very quickly.

The Predictive linguistics says these 2 quakes will be above 6

Tuesday
"There were no 6.0+ quakes in the world earthquake list today when I looked, but the 'window' doesn't really start until tomorrow and then goes for about five days"

In relation to the "We co-create our own reality" concept

It's not like the technology directly senses the future. Rather, what it seems to do is 'tune in' to the future emotions of people as they see or hear of a major event in their life...like a mega quake will be.

Seems that at some just-below-the-perception-threshold, people know bits and pieces of the future before it arrives. Major events that stand head & shoulders above the background noise (hurricanes/tornados/earthquakes) seem a little more clear because the everyday language shift associated with these kinds of 'outlier' events is pronounced (and predictive). It's also why the technology can't/doesn't work with 'hot issues'. You talk about a movie star or a public policy question like abortion rights, and it's nigh on to impossible to sort those kinds of things out because people are so emotionally charged over a long period of time - there's little 'change' in the archetypical language once some has adopted one position or another.

Earthquakes (and assorted other 'natural disasters') are different down at the mass consciousness level. With these, most folks when the event happens are just going about their day, doing their normal routine, picking up the kids, going to work, going hunting or fishing, night out with the girls...you know...just normal activities when WHAM along comes this big emotional impact.

Biggest Full Moon of the Year

The full Moon of Dec. 12th is the biggest and brightest full Moon of the year.

"It's no illusion. Some full Moons are genuinely larger than others and this Friday's is a whopper. Why? The Moon's orbit is an ellipse with one side 50,000 km closer to Earth than the other: diagram. In the language of astronomy, the two extremes are called "apogee" (far away) and "perigee" (nearby). On Dec. 12th, the Moon becomes full a scant 4 hours after reaching perigee, making it 14% bigger and 30% brighter than lesser full Moons we've seen earlier in 2008."

During a 4.5 quake locally the boats tied in at the docks get jerked about by the movement of the pilings and docks their boats are tied to. I watched it happen a few years ago from the parking lot on shore. Peoples' heads popped out of their boats like prairie dogs from their holes.

Well, the 'twin quakes' language has struck with a vengence. In the source articles from China, the earthquakes are repeatedly referenced as 'twins'. So, looks like that language has indeed surfaced. This is just a quick update to set that linguistic structure to rest.

Extract below:

95,000 affected by twin quakes

"From correspondents in Beijing Agence France-Presse December 27, 2008 09:13pm ? CHINA says more than 95,000 people have been affected by two earthquakes that rattled south-west China's Yunnan province. Nineteen people were injured, including four seriously, in Friday's twin quakes, the Xinhua news agency said today, citing the Yunnan provincial civil affairs administration. Nearly 10,000 people were evacuated and were unable to return to their homes on Saturday, according to Xinhua. The two quakes, with magnitudes of 4.3 and 4.9, struck in the early hours of Friday in different parts of Yunnan. Meanwhile, a quake of magnitude 4.0 hit in neighbouring Guizhou province on Friday, with no casualties reported, Xinhua said. "

You noticed the earthquake swarming in Yellowstone? Normal or something pending? (http://www.seis.utah.edu/req2webdir/recenteqs/Maps/Yellowstone.html) Time will....

They suspect they misread (collated/tabulated/interpreted) the data sets due to the following:

I expect the timing will be better on the next run because of some technical changes - usually not off by two weeks on an event in modelspace like [twin quakes], but I think it may have had something to do with keeping the data streams up to capture the tipping point area from October 4-10 when the global economic slip happened as any Icelander knows.

Grim conditions force Chinese president to revisit site of Sichuan earthquake
Hu Jintao has made his first visit back to the earthquake zone since the disaster struck in May after it emerged that millions of people were still homeless.

Only a handful of the five million people whose homes were destroyed by the strongest earthquake to hit China in half-a-century have managed to rebuild before the arrival of winter.
Piles of bricks and bags of cement line the road to Beichuan, near the epicentre of the quake, as peasants desperately try to erect structures that will shield them from the elements. The temperature in this mountainous region has already dipped to zero and will fall to as much as minus 20 degrees centigrade in the coming months.

Small tsunamis hit Japan coast

January 4, 2009,
The West Australian
7.6 magnitude quake and 7.5 aftershock
Small tsunamis hit Japan's south-east coast on Sunday morning after powerful earthquakes struck parts of eastern Indonesia overnight.
There were no reports of damage.
Japan's Meteorological Agency said tsunamis of 10cm to 40cm in height splashed ashore in towns along the coast.

It also warned that bigger tsunamis were possible later.

Government officials said there were no reports of damage, and television broadcasts of the coastal areas showed calm beaches and cars driving as normal on roads near the ocean.

A series of powerful earthquakes in remote eastern Indonesia overnight triggered the tsunamis.

Officials and witnesses in Indonesia said the 7.6 magnitude quake and 7.5 aftershock killed at least three people, injured dozens, and damaged buildings.

The Japanese Meteorological Agency earlier issued tsunami warnings for a wide swath of Japan's south-east coast for tsunamis up to 50cm high, prompting city officials to warn people to stay away from the ocean.

A huge quake off western Indonesia caused the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami that killed about 230,000 people, more than half of them in Sumatra.TOKYO, AP

As I read the headline on CNN this morning, I was amazed to see them referring to Yellowstone’s ancient (?) Volcano - which is an oversimplification of the facts, if not grossly misleading. Yellowstone IS NOT the location of an “ancient volcano”, but the site of one of the world’s largest “Super-Volcanoes” which if it ever erupted in our lifetimes, would spell disaster not only for the United States - but could easily be labeled as an extinction level event, and that’s far more serious than CNN’s article would lead anyone to believe MORE (http://justanothercoverup.com/?p=314)

Bobbi

I would have to agree with the above statements because, unless I'm mistaken, Yellowstone's eruptions in the past have been of a pyroclastic nature, as opposed to molten lava. I remember a story some time back about finding ancient rhinos in Nebraska that actually suffocated from inhaling volcanic ash. They had issues about the accuracy of that finding, as there are no volcanos in Nebraska. It was later discovered that Yellowstone is actually 3 separate calderas which were created as a result of "super" volcanic eruptions over time and the ash cloud was severe enough to suffucate animals two states away (including Wyoming).

Dragon
01-06-2009, 03:04 AM
Hello Bobbi,
To my limited understanding, it is thought that there will be several small eruptions all around the caldera, and all at once.
Steam and gas explosions, to relieve the pressure.
I have been told, they will be pyroplastic.
Once the pressure is relieved, which could take some time, the center will drop back down into the void, created with the release of pressure and heat and ash.

Should be a remarkable show, as long as you are at least 1000 miles away.
Of course, once the ash starts to rain down, there will not be much to see.

Bobbi

Anthony G. Holland

From a rural location in Alaska, controlled by "Big Oil", the US government is blasting billions of watts of high frequency microwave energy at our protective ionospheric shell which surrounds the earth. Their offical reason is "to see what it does". Several acres of Alaskan land have been dedicated to the construction of the HAARP array (you can actually find a picture of it online...)but it's real purpose runs from the practical (earth tomography (X-ray the earth to look for enemy submarines and secret underground bases)) through the hard to believe (transmission of electrical power without wires (Tesla's idea) through the insane (the complete disruption of global communications and mucking with weather patterns by shifting the jet stream)

Paul Kennedy Interviews Gwynne Dyer on
CLIMATE WARS
Listen from CBC Radio (http://www.cbc.ca/ideas/features/climate-wars/index.html)

Program Excerpt

About 2 years ago I noticed that the military in various countries, and especially in the Pentagon, were beginning to take climate change seriously. Now, it's the business of the military to find new security threats. It's also in their own self-interest, since they need a constant supply of threats in order to justify their demands on the taxpayers' money, so you should always take the new threats that the soldiers discover with a grain of salt. You know, never ask the barber whether you need a haircut.

But I did start to look into this idea that global warming could lead to wars. It turned into a year-long trek talking to scientists, soldiers and politicians in a dozen different countries. I have come back from that trip seriously worried, and there are four things I learned that I think you ought to know.

The first is that a lot of the scientists who study climate change are in a state of suppressed panic these days. Things seem to be moving much faster than their models predicted.

The second thing is that the military strategists are right. Global warming is going to cause wars, because some countries will suffer a lot more than others. That will make dealing with the global problem of climate change a lot harder.

The third is that we are probably not going to meet the deadlines. The world's countries will probably not cut their greenhouse gas emissions enough, in time, to keep the warming from going past 2 degrees celsius. That is very serious.

And the fourth thing is that it may be possible to cheat on the deadlines. I think we will need a way to cheat, at least for a while, in order to avoid a global disaster.

That's what this series is going to deal with, and we'll be lucky if we get through it all in 3 episodes. But I’m going to start by giving you an example of what that global disaster might look like, and the best way to do that is with a scenario. This is NOT a prediction of what the future will look like, because there are far too many variables and sheer unknowns to predict the world of, say, 2046. It’s just a plausible example of what 2046 could look like if we get it wrong over the next ten or fifteen years.
