What is the right type of technology?

I think that's pretty cool, though it could certainly be put to better uses than military, such as emergency response. The military gets all the cool toys though.

Kinda reminds me of the end of that Alien movie when Ripley jumps into a similar robot type suit and fought the alien...

Okay, okay, should have thought better before I gave it a name. "Type" should be "use". Maybe some toy for the WARPIG.................?? Santa's coming to town.

Good find, Swami. I've always thought if they put even a fraction of the bucks into exoskeleton tech that go into accessible ramps and lifts, we'd be able to outfit everyone who has trouble getting around. What a great invention!

There are some handicap applications being addressed today with exoskeleton tech

Using shoulder and breast muscle movement triggers the exoskeletal arm to respond by carrying out pre-programmed tasks.

Here is a light weight exoskeleton. I dont think it has all the capabilities as the one in the video though.

I am sure many here may have seen it already, but this is Army's BigDog Beta

Japanese Armored Mech Warrior?

Seems everyone is jumping on the robot bandwagon

I just want to know when these new technologies reach the private sector because they look like FUN
